Nineteen new COVID-19 cases confirmed in Joplin, number under quarantine, number of active cases down

The City of Joplin reported 19 new coronavirus cases in the past two days, according to statistics posted Wednesday on the city's COVID-19 Dashboard.

Joplin's count stands at 337, with five hospitalized, the same as Monday, and the number of people under quarantine fell from 132 to 124.








Active cases were down from 55 to 53.

The city has had 15 deaths, all of them residents of Spring River Christian Village.
