Thirty-one COVID-19 cases confirmed in past 24 hours in Newton County

Newton County crossed the 600 mark in COVID-19 cases today, confirming 31 cases to bring the total to 601.

Twenty-four people were removed from isolation today, dropping the number to 365. Another 138 are under quarantine. The county has had three coronavirus deaths.
