City of Joplin surpasses 400 COVID-19 cases with seven more confirmed

The Joplin Health Department reports seven new coronavirus cases, according to statistics posted on the city's COVID-19 dashboard, bringing the total to 401.

The number of active quarantine dropped from 101 to 95, while the number of COVID-19 patients in Joplin hospitals increased from 22 to 27.

The city has recorded 21 COVID-19 deaths, all of them residents of Spring River Christian Village.
