Missouri shot past 70,000 COVID-19 cases today, recording 1,258 cases in the past 24 hours, according to statistics released this afternoon by the Department of Health and Human Services.
The state has recorded 70,675 cases.
Twelve deaths were reported, putting Missouri's total at 1,414.
