Newton County adds 12 COVID-19 cases, number under isolation increases

Twelve COVID-19 cases were confirmed in Newton County over the past 24 hours, according to statistics posted Friday evening on the Newton County Health Department's Facebook page.

The county has had 906 confirmed cases.

The number of people who are hospitalized dropped from three to two, but the number who are under isolation increased from 231 to 240.








The county has recorded 10 deaths.

The statistics do not include the portion of the county that is located in the Joplin city limits.
