Newton County records 12 COVID-19 cases in 24 hours, number under isolation increases

Newton County recorded 12 new COVID-19 cases in 24 hours, according to statistics posted on the Newton County Health Department's Facebook page Tuesday night.

The new cases bring the county's total to 938 confirmed cases.








The number of people under isolation increased from 148 to 153.

The county has had 12 COVID-19 deaths.

The statistics do not include the portion of Newton County that is located in the Joplin city limits.
