Men in their 30s, 70s, are Jasper County's 27th and 28 COVID-19 fatalities


The Jasper County Health Department announced the deaths of two more people due to COVID-19 today.

Both men, one in his 30s, the other in his 70s, had been hospitalized prior to their deaths.


The deaths were the 27th and 28th for Jasper County.







The county confirmed 38 new cases in the past 24 hours, for a total of 2,227.

The number under isolation increased from 167 to 200, while the number who are hospitalized decreased from 26 to 24.

The statistics do not include the portion of Jasper County that is located in the Joplin city limits.
