Missouri reports 1,795 new COVID-19 cases, 23 deaths

 

Twenty-three Missourians died from COVID-19 today, according to statistics released this afternoon by the Department of Health and Senior Services.

The state has recorded 1,780 deaths.

For the second straight day, the state reported more than 1,700 new coronavirus cases, this time with 1,795.

The rate of positivity for COVID-19 tests remained high at 11.7 percent and the number of people hospitalized climbed back over 1,000 at 1,025.
