Newton County confirmed 32 COVID-19 cases today, according to statistics posted this evening on the Newton County Health Department Facebook page.
The county has had 1,475 cases to date.
The number of people who are hospitalized increased from five to six, while the number of cases in insolation jumped from 253 to 273.
Newton County has recorded 22 deaths, including two Monday.
The statistics do not include the portion of Newton County that is located in the Joplin city limits.
