Twenty-eight COVID-19 cases reported in Jasper County, number of people in isolation drops

Twenty-eight COVID-19 cases were confirmed in Jasper County in a 24-hour period, according to statistics posted this evening on the Jasper County Health Department Facebook page.

The number of people who are hospitalized increased from 24 to 25, but the number of cases in isolation dropped from 200 to 175.

The county has recorded 28 deaths due to COVID-19.

The statistics do not include the portion of Jasper County that is located in the Joplin city limits.
