Jasper County recorded its 54th COVID-19 death today, according to a Jasper County Health Department news release.
The victim, the 20th this month in Jasper County, was a man in his 70s.
The county's COVID-19 dashboard shows 3,556 cases, including 44 in the past 24 hours.
The number of people who are in isolation increased from 176 to 252 during that period. Twenty-nine people are hospitalized.
The statistics do not include Jasper County residents who live in the Joplin city limits.
