Joplin reports 18 new COVID-19 cases, number of patients at Freeman, Mercy increases

Eighteen COVID-19 cases were confirmed in Joplin during the past 24 hours, according to statistics posted this morning on the city's COVID-19 dashboard.

The city has had 1,521 cases.








The number of Joplin residents who are hospitalized remained at 21, but the total of coronavirus patients at Mercy and Freeman hospitals increased from 54 to 57.

The number of active cases among Joplin residents went from 106 to 108, while the number of people who are under quarantine decreased from 290 to 286.

The city has reported 25 deaths due to COVID-19.
