Joplin reports 35th COVID-19 death, number of COVID-19 patients at city hospitals down

 

The Joplin Health Department reported the city's 35th COVID-19 death today.

A news release issued by the department said the victim was a 98-year-old woman who was a resident in a Joplin long-term care facility.

The number of COVID-19 patients in Joplin hospitals is down to 65, according to statistics posted on the City of Joplin's new COVID-19 dashboard today.







Of those 65, 31 are city residents.

The Joplin Health Department reported 19 new cases and has been averaging slightly more than 30 cases per day over the past week.
