COUNCIL BILL NO. 2020-169

AN ORDINANCE Authorizing the adoption of the Public Transportation Agency Safety Plan (PTASP) detailing the safety processes and procedures for the City of Joplin, MO., Metro Area Public Transit System (MAPS) & Sunshine Lamp Trolley per the new regulation set in 49 CFR Part 673 of the federal guidelines; and containing an emergency clause.

COUNCIL BILL NO. 2020-406

AN ORDINANCE authorizing the City of Joplin to execute Work Authorization #7 to the Master Services Agreement for Professional Administrative Consulting Services with Guidehouse LLC (GH) formerly known as PricewaterhouseCoopers Public Sector LLP (PwC) to provide implementation and administrative activities, not to exceed Four Hundred Twenty Thousand and zero Dollars ($420,000) and authorizing the City Manager or his designee to execute said Agreement; and containing an emergency clause.

COUNCIL BILL NO. 2020-163

AN ORDINANCE authorizing the City of Joplin, Missouri, to enter into an Agreement with Ledford Construction & Development Company, L.L.C., a Missouri Limited Liability Company, for the purpose of providing sanitary sewer service; and authorizing the City Manager or his designee to execute said Agreement by and on behalf of the City of Joplin.

COUNCIL BILL NO. 2020-170

AN ORDINANCE authorizing the City of Joplin, Missouri, to enter into an Agreement with Molandco, Inc., a Missouri Corporation, for the purpose of relocating a sanitary sewer easement for the not to exceed price of $38,303.20; and authorizing the City Manager or his designee to execute said Agreement by and on behalf of the City of Joplin.

AN ORDINANCE approving the City of Joplin to enter into a construction agreement with D&E Plumbing and Heating Inc., in the amount of Eight Hundred Fifty-Three Thousand, Six Hundred Forty-Five and 00/100 Dollars ($853,645.00) for construction of the Baker’s Branch Interceptor Improvement Project; and authorizing the City Manager or his designee to execute the same by and on behalf of the City of Joplin.

AN ORDINANCE approving an amendment to a work authorization with Olsson, Inc. in the not to exceed amount of Fifty-Six Thousand and 00/100 Dollars ($56,000.00) for the Glendale Parallel Interceptor Improvements Project ; and authorizing the City Manager or his designee to execute the same by and on behalf of the City of Joplin.

COUNCIL BILL NO. 2020-173

AN ORDINANCE approving an occupancy agreement by and between the City of Joplin and Missouri & Northern Arkansas Railroad Company, Inc, as it pertains to construction of an underground storm sewer pipeline crossing and parallelism related to the 10th and Main Stormwater Project (TS0601) and establishing certain obligations regarding the continuation of the occupancy; and authorizing the City Manager or his designee to execute the same by and on behalf of the City of Joplin.

COUNCIL BILL NO. 2020- 175

AN ORDINANCE approving the City of Joplin to enter into a construction agreement with Hutchens Construction Company LLC an Emery Sapp & Sons Company in the amount of One Million, Two Hundred Twenty-Seven Thousand, Ninety-Seven and 92/100 Dollars, ($1,227,097.92) for the Mill and Overlay 2021 project; and authorizing the City Manager or his designee to execute the same by and on behalf of the City of Joplin.

AN ORDINANCE approving an agreement with Waste Corporation of Missouri LLC. (WCA) to provide curbside trash and recycling pick-up for single-family and duplex residential living units and authorizing the City Manager or his designee to execute the same by and on behalf of the City of Joplin.

AN ORDINANCE approving an Agreement between the City of Joplin, Missouri, and the Economic Security Corporation that pertains to 2020 CDBG public service grant funds; authorizing the City Manager to execute same on behalf of the City.
