Federal grand jury indicts Joplin woman, 18 others in meth trafficking conspiracy


A federal grand jury indicted 19 people, including a Joplin woman, for involvement in a meth trafficking conspiracy.

The indictment lists 102 instances of the conspirators distributing meth. Angela Marie McDaniel, also known as Angela Marie Williams, 47, Joplin, allegedly picked up meth from Oklahoma City on June 13 for one of the other accused conspirators.

The other 18 alleged co-conspirators are all from Oklahoma.

McDaniel's initial appearance was held this morning in Springfield and she was released on bond.
