Joplin Health Department reports three COVID-19 deaths, 17 in past two weeks

The Joplin Health Department reported three deaths due to COVID-19 today, raising the city's total to 53.

The victims, all of whom were residents of a long-term care facility, were two men, age 69 and 93, and a 94-year-old woman.

The city has recorded 17 coronavirus deaths this month, all in the past 13 days.
