Seven Carthage R-9 students are isolated after contracting COVID-19 and an additional 83 are under quarantine, according to statistics posted on the district's website.
Seven staff members are in isolation and six are under quarantine.
The students in isolation include two from Carthage High School and one apiece from Fairview, Mark Twain and Steadley elementary schools, Carthage Intermediate Center and Carthage Junior High School.
Staff members in isolation include two apiece from Steadley and Carthage Sixth Grade Center and one apiece from Pleasant Valley and Fairview elementary schools and the Early Childhood Center.
Staff members quarantined include three from maintenance/transportation, two from Carthage High School and one from Mark Twain Elementary.
The quarantined students are from the following buildings:

Carthage Intermediate Center 9
Fairview Elementary 7
Carthage Sixth Grade Center 7
