The Newton County Health Department confirmed 24 COVID-19 cases today, according to statistics posted this evening on the department's Facebook page.
To date, the county has 3,678 cases, with 362 currently in isolation.
The number of people who are hospitalized remained at 25.
Newton County has recorded 61 deaths due to COVID-19.
The statistics do not include the portion of Newton County that is located in the Joplin city limits.
