Sen. Josh Hawley tweeted the following statement about the violence at the U. S. Capitol today:
Thank you to the brave law enforcement officials who have put their lives on the line. The violence must end, those who attacked police and broke the law must be prosecuted, and Congress must get back to work and finish its job.

No one other than President Donald Trump himself is more responsible for Wednesday’s coup attempt at the U.S. Capitol than one Joshua David Hawley, the 41-year-old junior senator from Missouri, who put out a fundraising appeal while the siege was underway.
This, Sen. Hawley, is what law-breaking and destruction look like. This is what mobs do. This is not a protest, but a riot. One woman was shot and has died, The Washington Post reported, while lawmakers were sheltering in place.

These righteous, self righteous pieces of excrement republicans, now try and move away from what they encouraged should be taken out of office. Worse yet is the lack of being prepared for this "riot". Why doesn't the capitol building have steel doors to close and shut off the building from something like this happening? I would assume the party in power who encouraged this should have had more protection available knowing full well that thousands were travelling under encouragement of idiot orange hair. The whole thing rests on those senators, representatives and the president who willfully wanted this to happen and showed no respect to the decency of our country and should not be allowed to remain in their position. I think the atomic football should be taken away from Trump and he should be placed and sequestered into a empty office with no phone and allowed to see anyone for the next 13 days.
ReplyDeleteI would say a majority of Missourians are so proud of Hawley. They will follow him the next few years. They think this guy is on their side and cares about them. He has no idea how us regular people live. I bet he’s never had to decide whether to pay the utility bill or car insurance. Nor has he had to fret over how to afford school clothes or supplies. On and on it goes.
ReplyDeleteWell Hawley, the Kansas City Star says you have blood on your seditious hands. Or is that fascist hands?
