Joplin reports seven COVID-19 deaths

The Joplin Health Department reported seven COVID-19 deaths today bringing the city's total to 112.

The victims were a 50-year-old man and six women, ages 59, 60, 71, 78, 82 and 84, according to a department news release.

The department confirmed 37 coronavirus cases, putting the total to date at 5,311, including 217 active cases.

The number of COVID-19 patients at Joplin hospitals continues to decrease with 46 reported, including 21 city residents.
