Number of COVID-19 patients at Joplin hospitals sharply down, 11 cases confirmed

 

The number of COVID-19 patients in Joplin hospitals stands at 38, according to statistics posted on the city's website.

Of that number, 18 are Joplin residents.

At its height, Joplin hospitals had more than 110 coronavirus patients.

The Joplin Health Department confirmed 11 new cases, according to statistics posted Saturday night.

The city has recorded 5,667 cases, with 124 remaining active.

Joplin's death toll stands at 122.
