The Joplin Health Department reported the death of a 62-year-old woman from COVID-19, the city's 129th.
The department confirmed four COVID-19 cases today, according to statistics posted on the city website putting the total at 5,938 to date.
The city's hospitals have 23 coronavirus patients, including two Joplin residents.
