Presentation Of Alternative Transportation

The purpose of this presentation is to determine if there is interest in forming a partnership with Bird Scooters for the purpose of delivering alternative transportation. As a companion to the presentation a sample agreement has been attached. If there is support for a partnership, City staff will negotiate the final terms of the agreement with Bird Scooters.

Presentation Of Smart Pavement Technology

The purpose of this presentation is determine if there is interest in forming a partnership with Integrated Roadways for the purpose of delivering smart pavement technology. As a companion to the presentation a sample MOU has been attached. If there is support for a partnership, City staff will negotiate the final terms of the agreement with Integrated Roadways.

AN ORDINANCE approving a Work Authorization AMA-PG21-001 with Allgeier, Martin and Associates, Inc. in the not to exceed amount of Three Hundred Thirty Four Thousand and 00/100 dollars ($334,000.00) for professional engineering consulting services for the design of the rehabilitation of the parking garage at 6th Street and Virginia Avenue; and authorizing the City Manager or his designee to execute the same by and on behalf of the City of Joplin; and containing an emergency clause.

AN ORDINANCE approving an amendment (Change Order No. 1) to the construction agreement with Joplin Industrial Electric Co. Inc., in the amount of One Hundred Twelve Thousand Three Hundred Thirty-Six and 15/100 Dollars, ($112,336.15) for the Turkey Creek WWTF Generator Replacement 2021 project; and authorizing the City Manager or his designee to execute the same by and on behalf of the City of Joplin; and containing an emergency clause.
