(From Missouri Southern State University)Plans for a memorial service for Dr. Robert “Bob” McDermid that had been scheduled for this weekend in Webster Hall’s Corley Auditorium have been changed due to rising COVID numbers in the area.
The service will now be for family only, but will be streamed live starting at 1:50 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 7, on Joplin Community of Christ’s Facebook page.
Family members say a larger gathering may be scheduled at a later date.
