Vicky Hartzler: Vaccine mandates are wrong

(From Fourth District Congresswoman Vicky Hartzler)

President Biden’s authoritarian overreach will have devastating consequences for the services provided to Missourians throughout our state.

America is well on its way to combating this pandemic. More than 65 percent of U.S. citizens have at least one dose of the vaccine, with countless more individuals already obtaining antibodies through exposure to COVID-19. In the months ahead, this pandemic will hopefully be behind us and Americans can get back to normal again.

But should Biden's mandate take effect, millions of workers will be targeted, terminated, and thus unfairly lose their livelihoods and careers because of an ill-advised vaccine demand by the federal government.

I’ve already heard from many hardworking Americans in the public and private sectors who worry about the detrimental consequences for the state’s agriculture and health industries, as well as the livelihoods of rural Missourians and their families. That’s why I urged the U.S. Department of Agriculture, U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, U.S. Social Security Administration, and the U.S. Department of Defense to find solutions to keep America’s businesses and government offices open.

Put bluntly: Vaccine mandates are wrong. The federal government should never force medical procedures on their citizens.

How about talking about those other vaccines that everyone is already required to have?

Those other vaccines you mention, those went through 10 year long evaluation periods. We have, what, 1.5 years of data on these shots? Plus decades of documented problems with the mRNA vector technology?

Imagine a vaccine so effective, with so few risks, that people have to be forced to take it or risk losing their livelihood.

@7:08 Yet the vaccine has proven successful with little to no adverse side effects. Unlike COVID, the vaccine can't kill me, so there's that.

As regard to your last sentence, some people are doing their own 'research' on this. Just like the researched chemtrails, bigfoot, Benghazi, and the 2020 election. Lol

There are a lot of amateur scientists and virologists in the four corners.

Just how good they are at what they do is still a question.

Can the republicons pass a law that moves the CDC or NIH to Joplin?

Yeah I had covid and it was a bad cold. Because I take care of myself. Whole family's been that way, including grandma who fought it off at the ripe old age of 86. On the other hand, my electrician's 25 year old wife is in the hospital with myocarditis because she had to have the shot for work.

A lot the same folks telling me to take the shot told me there were WMD's in Iraq too. You have anything except ad-hominem and appeals to authority figures that consistently act in bad faith to back up that smarm?

@10:50
Be careful what you wish for. This is the age of the monkey's paw. >:-)

"I had covid and I'm fine" is anecdotal evidence at best, hearsay at worst.

"I drive my motorcycle without a helmet everyday and I'm fine", the selfish rider says to his friend in a coma.

See what I did there?
