Rep. Ben Baker, R-Neosho, is back at it again, making his entry into the pre-filed legislation sweepstakes with a couple of his favorite hits from yesteryear.
Baker pre-filed two bills, HB 1697, which would allow cottage food producers to sell food over the internet and of course, the legislation his constituents have demanded- HB 1698, which would allow those with concealed carry permits to take their guns into churches.
Under the present law, weapons can be taken into churches with the permission of the minister or church officials, Baker's version would eliminate that so that the minister will have to guess which of his or her congregation is packing heat.
