A center-hung scoreboard for Kaminsky Gymnasium on the Joplin High School campus is on tap for the Joplin R-8 Board of Education when it meets 6 p.m. Tuesday in the Memorial Administration Building.
The scoreboard, which is being recommended by school officials, would cost $45,928.27, not including installation costs, but that cost is already covered by advertising agreements, according to the proposal. At this point, $85,000 has been collected.
The funding method is the same that was used this year for the scoreboard at Junge Field.
It's all for the childrens so they can keep learning!
