Bank robbery charges were filed against an Anderson man earlier this week after he was identified as the man in surveillance photos taken in Monday's robbery of Great Southern Bank, 1232 S. Range Line Road in Joplin.
Vincent P. Gepson, 63, is still at large, according to a news release issued this morning by the Joplin Police Department.,
The suspect in this robbery has been positively identified as Vincent P. Gepson, age 63, of Anderson, Missouri.
Federal criminal charges for Bank Robbery have been filed and a warrant for Gepson’s arrest has been issued. Gepson is not in custody at this time and law enforcement is asking for the assistance of the public in locating him.
If you have any information on his whereabouts, please contact your local law enforcement agency immediately.
Please do not attempt to confront or contact Gepson as he should be considered armed and dangerous.

On May 9th, 2022 at 10:19 am, the Joplin Police Department Emergency Communications Center received a report of a business panic alarm at Great Southern Bank at 1232 S. Range Line Road in Joplin.
As officers were responding it was learned the alarm was set off following a robbery at this location.
The suspect entered the bank and threatened the use of a weapon and demanded money and fled the scene shortly thereafter. No employees were injured during the robbery.
The suspect is described as a white male, bald, wearing a dark colored long sleeve shirt, sunglasses and a surgical mask. He also appeared to have a bandage over the left side of his neck.
