At the time of his arrest, Jacob R. Miksell, 36, was on probation. Miksell pleaded guilty February 22 to a felony forgery charge. Under a plea agreement, the Jasper County Prosecuting Attorney's office dismissed a second felony charge, trafficking in stolen identities.
Judge Dean Dankelson sentenced him to seven years in prison, then suspended the sentence and placed him on probation for five years, according to Jasper County Circuit Court online records.
Pleas or worthless this piece of $#!% should have been in prison for 7 years. This is why our crime rates are on the rise. Same offenders continuing to commit crimes. Our judges are soft. Who cares if prison is crowded. Image a community that has less criminals on the streets. Criminals are not scared of the judicial system anymore.
ReplyDeleteJust as I’ve been saying… Dankelson doesn’t care if this jack ass steals from you, sells drugs to your kids, or gets in an accident because they are high and kills your loved ones. I sure would like to hear theses lame duck judges and prosecutors response.
ReplyDeleteTime for a new judge.
ReplyDeleteThis site is a bunch of sites! None of this report is true and I have proof. The young man in this report did not get arrested and is not in jail. Mr.Turner must be a Trump supporter cause he believes in fake news
ReplyDeleteFAKE NEWS! THIS MAN IS NOT EVEN A REPORTER! He makes money from posting lies and every time you open his blog he makes money! Getting paid to post lies
ReplyDeleteDidn't say he was in jail. Said it was suspended and placed on 4 years probat
DeleteTO Anonymous 2:47 a.m.: If you have proof that he was not arrested, perhaps the first thing to do would be to show it to the Highway Patrol, since his name was on a list of Highway Patrol arrests. Nowhere in the post did I write that he was in jail for this allegation. The report indicates he was taken to the Platte County Jail and then released. Every reference to other crimes came from information that is available on the court sites.https://www.mshp.dps.missouri.gov/HP71/ArrestDetailsAction?TW01REPORTNUMBER=I448786A
ReplyDeleteTo Anonymous 6:46 a.m.: I am surprised to find out that every time someone opens my blog, I make money. Since my blogs usually receive close to 200,000 visitors every month, that must make me a rich man and my bank account certainly doesn't show that. As for me not even being a reporter (in all capital letters, no less), considering I worked as a newspaper reporter for 22 years, even if you don't consider what I do now to be reporting, you can't say that I am not a reporter. Well, actually you can, since you clearly did, but that would be what you call "fake news."
👍
DeleteWell said Randy, I don’t know if I’ve ever agreed with you before but, I believe your news reports are factually, very left leaning for the most part .. but I do know your a reporter
ReplyDeleteAgain - Judge Dankelson - is Soft on Crime and an IDIOT - - Lookup Jacob Miksell on Case Net - - He has 12-Cases 2-Pages of Criminal Cases on Case Net. There is NO WAY THIS INDIVIDUAL DESERVES PROBATION - -

When will the Judges and Prosecuting Attorneys in Jasper and Newton County Do What they Were Elected to Do - Serve and Protect the People - STOP FEELING SORRY FOR THE CRIMINAL AND FEEL SORRY FOR THE VICTIMS OF THEIR CRIMES...
Judge Dankelson - - Should be Held Responsible for what this CRIMINAL DOES AND WHO HE VICTIMIZES.
I agree and we the people should demand they do the job they were elected for and paid to do,
