A 72-year-old Carthage man pleaded guilty to two counts of statutory sodomy Monday in Jasper County Circuit Court and was sentenced to 14 years in prison.
Under a plea agreement with the Jasper County Prosecuting Attorney's office, David Wilson, 72, pleaded to the charges, with another count of statutory sodomy and a count of attempted statutory rape dismissed.
Judge Gayle Crane sentenced Wilson to seven years on each count with the sentences to run consecutively.
Wilson's crimes involved girls who were 17 and 13.
