Joplin man sentenced to 15 years on meth conspiracy, weapons charges

A federal judge sentenced a Joplin man to 15 years in prison on meth conspiracy and weapons charges today.

Judge Stephen R. Bough sentenced William E. FlorianPalma, 41, to 10 years on the conspiracy charge and five years on the weapons charge with the sentences to run consecutively.

After Florian-Palma completes his sentences, he will be on supervised probation for five years on each charge with the probations to run consecutively.

The sentence was less than the 19 years the government had requested in a sentencing memo filed last week.
