Change of plea hearing scheduled for Joplin man in meth trafficking case


A change of plea hearing has been scheduled 1 p.m. July 11 in U. S. District Court in Springfield for a Joplin man charged for his involvement in a methamphetamine trafficking conspiracy.

Troy D. Frost, 43, will be the fifth person charged in the conspiracy to enter a guilty plea.







Those who pleaded guilty earlier were Amanda Consolver, 31, Joplin, Dustin A. Teeter, 41, Webb City, Robert "Bobby" Stevens, 31, Joplin, and Jacinto Bernave, 32, Reeds.

Others indicted in the conspiracy, which took place during 2022, are Jeremy J. Sanders, 43, Carthage and Oleyesa A. Tiegs, 30, Carthage.

At this point, none of those who have pleaded guilty have been sentenced.
