A Carthage man was sentenced to 15 years in prison this afternoon after entering an Alford plea to a felony count of child molestation.
Under an Alford plea, a defendant does not admit guilt, but concedes the prosecution has enough evidence to convict him at trial.
Jose Armando Alberto-Garcia, 39, was charged with molesting a 12-year-old girl on two occasions in 2020.
