During a June 20 session, Jasper County Commission approved the emergency purchase of a 2018 Chrysler Pacifica Minivan from Roper Honda for the Jasper County Coroner for $25,205, according to Commission minutes.
"Due to the extensive repairs to the current vehicle, it is more cost effective to buy something in better condition," the minutes read.
The minutes do not indicate whether any other bids were sought.
