The Joplin R-8 Board of Education will meet 5 p.m. Monday in the Memorial Administration Building, take roll call and then immediately entertain a motion to go into closed session.
Items scheduled to be discussed in the closed session, according to the preliminary agenda are litigation, hiring, firing, disciplining or promoting of employees and individually identifiable personnel records.
