The Jasper County Prosecuting Attorney filed a felony driving while intoxicated charge today against a Joplin woman who had three DWI convictions on her record.
According to the probable cause statement, Mary Ann Hunter (DOB 1965) was pulled over by a Joplin Police Department officer Wednesday, had a difficult time with the field sobriety tests, "provided a positive preliminary breath sample and refused a chemical test of her blood under implied consent."
A check on her record showed Hunter had been convicted of driving while intoxicated in Tooele County, Utah on August 26, 1999, and in Washington County, Utah on March 17, 2015 and August 28, 2019.
A warrant was issued for Hunter's arrest with bond set at $10,000 cash or surety.
