Joplin Gardens owner asks judge to order fired pagan nurse to cover $7,800+ in costs

The pagan nurse whose religious discrimination lawsuit against her former employer Joplin Gardens was dismissed February 2 may end up covering $7,853.61 in expenses incurred by Joplin Gardens owner N & R of Joplin LLC.

Attorney Clayton L.Thompson of the Columbia firm of Ford, Parschall & Baker LLC, filed the bill for the court's consideration today in U. S. District Court for the Western District of Missouri.

In his opinion tossing the case, Judge David P. Rush said evidence presented by Joplin Gardens showed it had ample reason to discipline and eventually fire Lucinda Cox and said there was no evidence that she had been discriminated against by her Christian supervisors for her pagan beliefs or that she had endured a hostile workplace.

The list provided by the attorney included the cost of deposition transcripts, mileage, witness fees and serving subpoenas.

Our Country - has to many Frivolous Lawsuits - If you Bring a Lawsuit - You need to be ready to Pay - The Court Costs and/or the Defendants Costs to Defend themselves if you lose.
