(From Sen. Jill Carter, R-Granby)State Sen. Jill Carter, R-Granby, plans to visit the Carthage Water and Electric Plant (CWEP) on Friday, Feb. 16, to recognize its impressive 125 years of service to the Carthage community.
“I am proud to acknowledge CWEP’s significant role as a dependable cornerstone in Carthage since 1898, and I am honored to be a part of this milestone anniversary celebration,” said Sen. Carter. “Congratulations and thank you to CWEP for 125 years of exceptional service.”
Senator Carter will present CWEP with a Missouri Senate Resolution highlighting the company’s many accolades and contributions to fostering growth and development within the Carthage community.
This recognition event will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Feb. 16 in CWEP’s community room, located at 627 W. Centennial Ave. in Carthage. Members of the media are invited and encouraged to attend.
