A bond reduction hearing for a Joplin man who allegedly molested a child from age nine to age 13, will be held 9 a.m. Monday in Jasper County Circuit Court in Joplin.
Mitchell Allen Zebrowski (DOB 1988) is charged with child molestation in the first degree, five counts of statutory sodomy, enticement of a child and furnishing pornographic material to a minor, all felonies.
The State has not made the requisite showing under either Missouri Statute or the Missouri Constitution that Defendant poses a danger to the alleged crime victim, witness, or the community.
The State has had ample opportunity to notify the alleged victim, as this cause was originally set for bond hearing on October 18, 2023 when this cause was pending in the associate court and a hearing on bond was requested in this court when Defendant was arraigned and has been set for March 25, 2024.
When the Jasper County Sheriff's Office made contact with Zebrowski to set up an interview, he hung up and fled the state, the probable cause statement said. He was arrested by the Las Vegas Metro Police Department.
no evidence had been presented that he is a danger to the community.
ReplyDeleteIt depends on what the meaning of the words "danger to the community" is.
Wow - How utterly Insane - That the Defendant's Attorney, would state her Client, Mitchell Allen Zebrowski, does not poses a danger to the alleged crime victim, witness, or the community and he should be able to Bond Out - Yet he has no Money, Family, or Friends - and when contacted initially he fled out of the State to Las Vegas - Does Anyone Think He Could be a Flight Risk, so can we just let him out of Jail after committing these - Eight separate Child Sex Acts on a Poor Innocent Child?
ReplyDeleteYet our PC (Politically Correct) Society has to worry that this Sick Pedophile has Rights, when we should be making sure this Child receives the necessary Help and Counseling to try and Overcome these Heinous Acts, that this Child will have to Deal with the Rest of their Life. What a Screwed Up Legal System we have - When the Criminals have more Rights than the Victims.
This Bastard - should be strung up and then dumped in the woods. Wish there was Frontier Justice - and not this PC (Politically Correct) Society - where we have to Feel Sorry for the Criminals and Not the Victims - Thoughts and Prayers for this Child!
Children are our Most Precious Gifts - Protect Them!
He fled once. I'm sure he would do it again.
ReplyDeleteHe offered money in exchange. Then he can pay for his bond, no leniency should be granted here. But, it is Jasper county, so he’ll probably be released on his own recognizance or at least a cheap bond. Mark my words.
ReplyDeleteMitchell Allen Zebrowski, aka Mr. Bad Touch
ReplyDeleteIf the amount of bond is determined by a person's ability to pay rather than being determined by the crime he/she committed then we are all in a boatload of trouble.
ReplyDeleteOur communities wont be safe and people who commit such crimes will be a danger to us. Talk to Mr Zebrowski's victims and see how safe they feel.
I say we should drop all bond, but he must stay at Rachel Fisher‘s house.
ReplyDeleteSounds fair to me 🤷♂️
