When Ben Baker, R-Neosho filed for re-election on the first day of filing, his social media announcement contained a note of certainty.
Just filed for my final term in the Missouri House of Representatives. It's been an honor to serve the great people of the 160th District and I will continue to work hard to serve the best district in the state.
That may very well be what happens, but in order to serve that fourth and final term, Baker will first have to win two elections.
That was guaranteed Monday when Rebecca Stipp Jensen, Neosho, filed on the Democratic ticket, the first candidate to do so.
Joplin City Council member Mark Farnham filed March 20 to oppose Baker in the Republican primary.
She can go head to head with Ben. Would love to see the debate.
ReplyDeleteBenjamin don't like debates. He'll never show up.
DeleteBible Ben debate a Democratic opponent who has a real education and is a woman with a profession?
ReplyDeleteHahahahahaha I bet he will be too scared to do that!
Baker can always get a job selling tRUMP's new God Bless the USA Bible.
ReplyDeleteBen Baker and Donald Trump: two brothers in stupidity and bad religion.
Mr. Baker has done a great job of representing the voters of his district, and their
ReplyDeletevalues and concerns. He works hard. He is a solid Republican who helps organize public events to reach out to the voters.
Do not agree with several comments above.
