AN ORDINANCE approving an amended work authorization with Olsson, Inc. in the not to exceed amount of Thirty-Seven Thousand and 00/100 DOLLARS ($37,000.00) for Glendale Parallel Interceptor Improvements and authorizing the City Manager or his designee to execute the same by and on behalf of the City of Joplin.

RESOLUTION NO. 2024-001
A RESOLUTION authorizing the filing of a One Year Action Plan with the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development as required for use of the City of Joplin’s Community Development Block Grant Program (Entitlement) and the Joplin Consortium HOME Investment Partnership Program for program year 2024; and authorizing the City Manager to execute said Plan for and on behalf of the City of Joplin.
RESOLUTION NO. 2024-003
A RESOLUTION of the City of Joplin, Missouri, stating the intent to pursue a Transportation Alternatives Program (TAP) Grant in the amount of $600,000.00 for the city-owned 7th Street Sidewalks Project; and, committing to the match funding for the remainder of the project, which is estimated to cost an additional approximate $1.4 million.

AN ORDINANCE declaring the necessity of acquiring for public use certain real property for the purpose of Drainage Improvements near the 200 Block of N. Cox Avenue; authorizing the City Manager and his designees to negotiate for the purpose of acquiring the necessary interests in land; authorizing the City Attorney and his designees to institute condemnation proceedings if such interests in land cannot be acquired by purchase through good faith negotiations; and containing an emergency clause.

AN ORDINANCE approving an agreement with G&G Construction Company, Inc. in the amount of One Million Twelve Thousand Seven Hundred and 00/100 DOLLARS ($1,012,700.00) for Miscellaneous WWTP Improvements 2024 and authorizing the City Manager or his designee to execute the same by and on behalf of the City of Joplin.
COUNCIL BILL NO. 2024-115
AN ORDINANCE approving a work authorization with Olsson, Inc. in the not to exceed amount of Two Hundred Two Thousand Five Hundred and 00/100 dollars ($202,500.00) for engineering services associated with the Route 66 Sanitary Sewer Improvements project and authorizing the City Manager or his designee to execute the same by and on behalf of the City of Joplin.
COUNCIL BILL NO. 2024-450
AN ORDINANCE authorizing a Program Services Contract, by and between the State of Missouri, Department of Health and Senior Services, and the City of Joplin, Missouri, for the City of Joplin Health Department to receive compensation, for up to Fifty-Four Thousand, Four Hundred Dollars and no Cents, ($54,400.00); and, authorizing the City Manager to execute the same by and on behalf of the City of Joplin, Missouri.

COUNCIL BILL NO. 2024-264
AN ORDINANCE approving the Development Agreement with ALLO Missouri, LLC to construct a fiber optic network that is able to offer high quality, fiber optic broadband to substantially all residents, anchor institutions, and businesses in the City that are accessible using public rights-of-way and similar public easements, ways and extension and additions thereto. The Network facilities shall be owned and operated by ALLO Missouri and located within the corporate limits of the City; authorizing the City Manager to execute said contract by and on behalf of the City of Joplin.
