A grand jury indictment of three Joplin residents for meth trafficking and money laundering conspiracies was unsealed today in U. S. District Court in Springfield.
According to court records, Jamie D. Hodges, 46, Kristen D. Long, 38 and Amanda D. Barnes, 36, were initially indicted April 10.
All three are included in the two conspiracy charges, while Long also faces one count of possession with meth with intent to distribute and Barnes is also charged with possession of meth with intent to distribute, possession of a firearm in futherance of drug trafficking and being a felon in possession of a firearm.
The alleged crimes occurred in 2022 and 2023 in Jasper and Newton counties, according to the indictment.
