Ray Spencer, 32, Joplin, pleaded guilty to a weapons charge this afternoon in U. S. District Court in Springfield.
Judge David P. Rush ordered a presentencing investigation. No date has been set for sentencing.
The Joplin Police Department initially arrested Spencer following a February 26 traffic stop on Rangeline.
