(From the Barton County Prosecuting Attorney)Tre Robert Ackerson entered a guilty plea on July 18, 2024, in the Circuit Court of Barton County, Missouri. Ackerson pleaded guilty to the felony of murder in the 2nd degree for causing the death of Terry G. Harless.
Harless was shot and killed on July 13, 2020, at his residence in Lamar, Missouri. The investigation was conducted by the Lamar Police Department and the Missouri State Highway Patrol.
Judge David Munton sentenced Ackerson to 20 years in the Missouri Department of Corrections, concurrent with his sentence imposed by the United States District Court on a separate criminal matter.
Tre Robert Ackerson, receives a 20-Year Sentence for Killing someone - Do you think that is Fair - to take someone's Life and spend 10-15-Years of Time in Jail for a Murder? Why are we so Soft on Criminals and give them Minimum Sentences - Do we really think that he is going to Get Religion or be Rehabbed in Prison -
ReplyDeleteHis 20 year sentence is running concurrent with his50 year sentence..relax
ReplyDelete11:21AM - Don't you tell anyone to RELAX... Jolene Walker Campbell, was only 35, an Osage nation citizen - when she was brutally murdered, a young woman with a long life ahead of her. She left behind a grieving family - when Ackerson and his Codefendants, Murdered and tried to Cover up this Hellacious Crime. What if this was your Daughter, Family Member, or Family Friend - - Should we just Forget about her Life -
ReplyDeleteSo this Piece of Crap, Kills someone and gets to spend his life in jail - NO I WILL NOT RELAX - He should have been put to Death for what he did!!! We are too Soft on Criminals - I don't want to hear; well, he will probably die behind bars - he is 30-Years Old he should not be supported the next 40-50 Years by the Taxpayers - He should have been put to Death, Society does not need to have the likes of him or the rest of Codefendants walking on this Planet - If any Violent Criminal Deserves the Death Sentence - Ackerson is the Poster Boy -
Ackerson admitted that he intentionally shot the victim multiple times, cut her throat, and hit her head several times with a tire jack until she died from the injuries. He further admitted to conspiring with the other codefendants to obstruct, threaten, and tamper with witnesses that had information relating to the kidnapping and murder.
Let's Support the Death Penalty - For Violent Crimes and Criminals -
Remember Concurrent Sentences at the same time -
50 Year Sentence Federal - Federal inmates serve an average of 85% of their sentence, which means that they are required to serve a minimum of 85% of their sentence before becoming eligible for release.
20 Year Sentence State Missouri - If deemed a Dangerous Felony an Inmate must Server 85% of their Sentence.
Terry Harless was my husband and a father at the time of his murder to our then 9 yr. Old little girl....... they took away her everything, no father n daughter night at school, when she graduates high-school she will glance to the audience and then painfully remember her daddy is not there and what brutally happened to him, she won't have him to walk down the isle if she marrys, if she has children she will have to tell them they have no grand pa, no fathers day,no more ice cream cones together, she can't run into his arms and be swooped up , no longer will be be there for her bday, no more kisses, no more tickles, no more any thing.. because the system is fucked up... look at all 3 and they're was more, they're record, go to case net. Com.... never ever did the court send them to prison when they screwed up time and time again and they were already on probation,,, they all had big felony new charges while on probation, they would bond out, not go to court a warrent issued God knows how many times only to have the end result be to run they're new charges with they're probation they were already on...WTF really... how is this right??? Some thing they pleaded guilty for and were put on paper for...tre had new charges involving guns, drugs, assault and on a police officers,, witness tampering. The list goes on while he was on probation, so did lane,, the judicial system killed my Terry...,, by not enforcing the laws of probation and parole, also killing Jolene they did, they with they're positive reinforcement of they're bad behavior everytime they criminally did something while in paper not revoking them and be sent to prison taught each one of them that nothing would happen no matter what that they could post bond each time and they did, that they could miss court and still be allowed to bond even though they had new charges each time which is violation of probation and so were allowed to bond, they didn't report either and still they were released,, less than 2weeks before they killed terry due to social distancing covid again they released them,, Terry would be here my little girls daddy but just look at the court... they might as well the court sentences them for murder of 20 years to run con current with joleens murder, wtf basically that said gets your 50 yrs of which trumps 20 .. so let me see you can kill 2 people and pay only the price for one... right... so I want those mother Fuckers to live each day of they're pathetic excuse for a human being rotten scum in prison for those measly 50 yrs locked in a cage like the animal they are...I pray that they have total memory recall of the events that lead to Jolene and my husband death to it makes them crazy mad in the head...I pray someone's makes them they're bitch every night, I pray when they call home no one answers,, I do believe in the death sentence, we live by the law of the jungle not the law of the land , where it should be a eye for a eye and a tooth for a tooth... it would be too kind of an act to put them to death where they feel no more he'll no that is the easy way out..if our little girl ever decides when she is older that she wants to see the men that did it, than they will be there to face her, or what ever she decieds. They have victimized they're own children as well to be fatherless like her kind of..death for these guys I don't want it... if any thing I pray for things to happen out of they're control outside prison, and have to deal with that in prison...
