Nexstar stations, including KSNF, to broadcast Hawley-Kunce debate

Nexstar Media Group, Inc. (NASDAQ: NXST), announced today that it will host an exclusive live multi-market telecast of a debate featuring the candidates for the United States Senate from Missouri. Democrat Candidate Lucas Kunce and Republican incumbent Senator Josh Hawley have committed to participate. 

“DEBATE NIGHT IN MISSOURI: THE RACE FOR U.S. SENATE” will take place on Thursday, October 31, 2024, at 7:00 p.m. CT, at the studios of KTVI-TV FOX 2/KPLR-TV in St. Louis, Missouri, and will be telecast and live streamed across the state.








“As Your Local Election Headquarters, we are proud to host major political debates, none bigger than this year’s Missouri Senate debate,” said Kurt Krueger, Vice President and General Manager of KTVI/KPLR in St. Louis. “A thorough debate of the issues confronting voters will help Missourians as they cast their ballots.”

The one-hour debate will be available via broadcast or digital live stream to every Missouri voter in every county of the state. The debate will bring together millions of viewers and will air on five Nexstar-owned or operated local stations serving the state: KTVI-TV (FOX) and KPLR-TV (CW) in St. Louis, WDAF-TV (FOX) in Kansas City, KRBK (FOX) in Springfield, and KSNF-TV (NBC) in Joplin.








The debate will be moderated by FOX 2 News anchor Shirley Washington and FOX 4 KC News anchor John Holt, who will pose questions to the candidates focused on local and regional issues impacting communities across Missouri.

The election for U.S. Senator from Missouri is scheduled to take place on Tuesday, November 5th. Voters must register by October 9th.     All that Hawley has is constant appearance on Fox ranting and his undying allegiance to Trump. What has he done for Missouri? What bills has he helped pass? How is he making Missouri better?
