Following a pursuit and fight, an ICE deportation officer arrested a Guatemalan native who has been living in Carthage illegally.
Fausto Edward Paxtor Vicente, 39, who is charged with illegal re-entry and assaulting a federal officer, had been removed to Guatemala by ICE Air November 25, 2016, according to the probable cause statement filed today in U. S. District Court for the Western District of Missouri.
From the probable cause statement:
A short time later, Paxtor Vicente pulled out of the driveway and began driving down the street. {He} noticed {the officer} and began to accelerate his vehicle. {The officer} activated his emergency lights and attempted to pull over Vicente. Vicente turned into an alley, put his vehicle in park, exited his vehicle and began running down the alley on foot.
{The officer} pursued Paxtor Vicente on foot for approximately one-half of a mile in the direction of Vicente's residence. During the pursuit, {the officer{ repeatedly yelled, "ICE Police." {The officer was also wearing a black vest with "Police" displayed on the front and back.
As they approached Paxtor Vicente's residence, {the officer} went one way around the house and Paxtor Vicente went the other. {The officer} observed Paxtor Vicente attempt to pick up an unknown object, later identified as a wood splitting maul, from the porch.
Paxtor Vicente began to fight with {the officer. During the struggle, Paxtor Vicente's wife, Dominga Oxlaj Vicente, a citizen and national of Guatemala, came outside and jumped on {the officer's_ back and began hitting him and trying to pull him away from Paxtor Vicente.
{The officer} was eventually able to handcuff Paxtor Vicente on the front of his body. While {the officer} escorted Paxtor Vicente to his GOV, Oxlaj Vicente continued to pull on {the officer} in an effort to free Paxtor Vicente.
Paxtor Vicente was transported to the ERO office in Springfield, Missouri, and processed for deportation without further incident.
Paxtor Vicente is being held without bond in the Greene County Jail.

How can any human be illegal on land that was stolen?
ReplyDeleteThis land wasn't stolen. We conquered the savages living here and took their land, same thing that happens in every war. When you lose a war, there are consequences. Native Americans were thousands of years behind the rest of the world in every quantifiable metric. It was just a matter of time. Cry more.
