Charlie's Chicken fails Joplin Health Department inspection


Charlie's Chicken, 2020 E. 32nd Street, failed its Joplin Health Department inspection today, according to information posted on the department website.

The business recorded six priority violations and six core violations, according to the report.







Priority violations were recorded for the following:

-Several PHFs in the pass through cooler were being cold held above 41 degrees

-Carrots in the hot box were being hot held below 135 degrees

-Tomatoes, cheese and lettuce in the toppings cooler were being cold held above 41 degrees

-Cold sides (cole slaw, cucumber salad, pea salad, pudding) in the cold wells were being cold held above 41 degrees

-Glass cleaner in the prep area was stored over/with food and/or food equipment

-Chemical spray bottle on shelf was stored over/with food and/or food equipment
