Branson entertainer pleads not guilty to sexual exploitation of a child, judge takes detention motion under advisement

Branson and Las Vegas entertainer Garry Carson pleaded not guilty during his arraignment today in U. S. District Court in Springfield.

Carson, 57, and his wife, Janine Carson, 39, are charged with sexual exploitation of a child.

A detention hearing followed the arraignment. The government's motion was taken under advisement. Carson will remain in the Greene County Detention Center while awaiting the decision.
