Neosho R-5 names assistant principals at Benton, George Washington Carver schools

The Neosho School District is excited to share an important leadership update for the 2026-2027 school year at Benton Elementary School and George Washington Carver Elementary School.



Kara Eutsler, Benton Assistant Principal, 2026-2027

We are proud to announce Kara Eutsler, has been promoted to assistant principal at Benton Elementary. Kara currently serves as an instructional coach at Benton and succeeds Dana Gunlock, who is retiring after years of dedicated service and leaves a lasting impact on the Benton community. 








Kara has served NSD students and staff since 2016, both as an educator and instructional coach. Her strong instructional leadership, commitment to student success and strong relationships with staff and families make her an outstanding fit for this role.

Whitney Baker, G.W. Carver Assistant Principal, 2026-2027

We are excited to welcome Whitney Baker as the next assistant principal at G.W. Carver Elementary School. She succeeds Elaine Branham, who will serve as the principal of Goodman Elementary School beginning in the 2026-2027 school year.

Whitney is a dedicated instructional leader who has served the Webb City R-7 School District students and staff since 2016, both as an educator and instructional coach. She is known for supporting teachers, building strong collaborative teams and using data to drive meaningful academic growth. Her work strengthening intervention systems and leading district-wide professional learning reflects her strong commitment to student achievement and staff support.
