Following the disturbance one vehicle, occupied by juveniles and an 18-year-old female, began following the second vehicle, which was a white Ford Raptor occupied by juveniles at a high rate of speed.

The eastbound vehicle was driven by Sarah Trayer, 47, of Joplin. Trayer was later pronounced deceased at the scene. The Jasper County Coroner’s Office responded to the scene. An autopsy is scheduled for today at 12:30 pm. Next of kin has been notified.
